cause there isn't a rhyme
will you refuse to hear
Jesus spoke plainly
sometimes in a parable
often you thought you were wise
and you found your genius is foolishness
simple words of a babe could be understood
Jesus is the answer to life that lasts
GOD proved his love
through His spoken word
Jesus fulfilled the living scripture
hung on the cross to bring you out of bondage
no greater love you'll ever find
that a man would give his life for his friends
count them three days
an angel of the Lord rolled the stone away
and the Holy Spirit swept Jesus body away
oh yes He appeared to Mary and the disciples
forty infallible proofs
to those who witness His dying on the cross
the driving nails in His feet and hands
and the spear in His side
they were the first eyewitnesses
Jesus has resurrected and is placed at
the right hand of the Heavenly Father
Jesus will draw all men unto Him
He's coming back the way He went up
so don't weary just believe
cause He will bring light to your blinded eyes
