we've taken hand outs
we just love it
when were the receivers
but through a lie we took
the fruit that would costs our lives
we slipped out of the garden
into a world of darkness
first Man heard a word from above
He believed and named life to Eve
the promise would come
come from the birth of a woman
first Man with words to save
generations of unending human souls
the only Man who could die
to give back life to carry on
what do we give back
when so much has been given to us
when an unequal GOD
brings Himself to our level
just to prove His love for us
have we taken the Savior
just to better our convenience
have we built our heavens on earth
and watched the poor
go through a wintry hell
tell me where's our share
