to be good
doing what your told
never let the saying
get too old
saying i love you
is more than just a word
everything
you've ever learned
in Sunday school
too out in the playground
are lessons
that come and
surround your life
is people you know
you talk - but what do you talk about
you listen - but what do you really hear
you complain - but did you know you were right
you cry - but did anyone hear your prayer
you laughed - but did you look up or did you look away
i'm just as
unsure as you
as what tomorrow brings
but what today holds
is enough
to keep me
focused and able to move on..
