to see the words leap from the pages
age makes me wise
to know your love is essential and eternal
its so important there's nothing like it
from a baby
to a man you carried the world on your shoulders
as i get older i can see your love more clearly
GOD made flesh His Holy Spirit brings us to remembrance
there was a secret place
where you prayed to your Heavenly Father
people waited for hours
just to hear the words coming from your lips
they flowed out from your mouth and healed
their wounded and hidden scars
they begged for your mercy
and you stopped and touched them with compassion
surrender, oh i surrender all to you Jesus
open my eyes let me see you
worship you in humble humility
can we follow you Jesus
walking in love this lamb can't go astray anymore
Teacher, your disciples ask you how to pray
children would sit in your lap you didn't turn them away
you said seek my kingdom
a kingdom that's your Father's good pleasure to give us
you dressed poor and made me glad to be me
taken to the cross you forgave us
Easter came and you rose and talked to your people
Faithful Jesus you made us smile
you didn't disappoint us you came back for us
